Summer skin care tips

Summer can be a hazardous time for your skin - the sun coupled with dry winds can easily damage some of the delicate cells on your face and cause premature ageing. However there are things you can do to help protect your skin and keep it looking youthful and healthy.

Exfoliation: It is good practice to try and exfoliate your face once or twice a week. Exfoliation helps to rid the skin of the dull, dry looking skin and helps to promote a healthy glow.

Moisturiser: By moisturising with a good quality product you can help ensure your skin stays looking radiant all summer long. Help encourage the glow by massaging your face whenever you apply moisturiser (always brush towards the heart) as this helps to stimulate your lymphatic system which in turn encourages healthy, smooth skin and helps to eliminate the build up of toxins.

Hydration: Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and keep your skin looking beautiful. If you don't like plain water, try adding some squash for flavour. Avoid caffeine and carbonated drinks if possible.
